As a midwife who has clinically attended over 500 births at home, including two of my own, I now work on consulting and coaching and holding exquisite and deep energetic space for expectant mamas. This moment is a profound portal for us to drop down into one of the most incredible and valuable times of our lives. We only get to do this a handful of times at most, maybe only once. To me its a travesty that many women are bulldozed into a traumatic birthing experience where it could be one of the most ecstatic and expanding moments that we are ever able to meet, touch, witness and gain so many gifts from.
